Laser & Intense Pulsed Light Training

Our training centre offers a mix of accredited and non-accredited training in laser, intense pulsed light (IPL) and other light-based technologies to suit individual needs.

In terms of accredited training, we are registered with the national vocational training regulator, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), to provide a nationally recognised laser/IPL qualification.

The course. which provides the highest qualification of its type currently available in Australia, is

SHB60118 Advanced Diploma of Intense Pulsed Light and Laser Hair Reduction (Release 1).

This course is one of a number that provides an opportunity to train with Australia's foremost laser practitioner, Dr Li Mei-Kin Rees, who holds a PhD for her research into the effectiveness of laser acupuncture on osteoarthritis knee pain.

Mei-Kin has been a practising laser therapist for more than 20 years and was instrumental in pioneering the development of a series of laser/IPL courses that were the first to be accredited in the Australian vocational education training sector.
